Whoever gave this a 5 star was paid to do so. The best part of the movie was the fart someone released during a quiet moment in the theater. Random, cringey singing and this movie sadly became entirely about Lady Gaga. The story was weak and not worth telling. Not to mention the false advertising of the trailer leading up to opening weekend! The entire world had ZERO idea this was a musical up until like yesterday … Such a wasted opportunity to do something truly brilliant. This goes on my personal list of 2024 flop films alongside A Quiet Place: Day One! The writers in Hollywood need to end their strike immediately, because the world needs you! /sigh Gonna go watch Dark Knight to forget…

So brilliant! From the cinematography, to the costume design, to the cast, this movie was thrilling and very well done! High rewatch value and several nods to the original films ! Refreshing and legitimate jump scares throughout. I’m excited to see if they make a sequel! ***Side Note: I feel like the main heroine was also loosely based on Ellie from “The Last of Us”. Hear me out. Some of the costumes/hairstyles seemed very Ellie-like but ALSO the jokes told at the end of the film (the one about gravity specifically). Call me crazy lol but as a huge fan of the game franchise, I loved this potential Easter egg. <3

In the words of my sister: “Wow…that was worse than anything I could’ve imagined.” Everyone leaving the theatre had angry facial expressions at the endLOL 😆 I personally feel like anytime a movie has a little interview from the cast prior to the film, it’s a sign the movie is garbage! The first 1/4 of this movie was promising, but everything went downhill from there. By the end, you realize that there was nothing important about this story…try as it might. Apparently playing card games surrounded by noisy instruments, reminiscing about your father playing “beautiful piano”, and eating 5 day old pizza is what life is about. If the story wasn’t going to be nearly as strong as the first 2 films, they shouldn’t have bothered with this 3rd installment. But hey, the ocean water proof paper at the end was a nice touch too. And the hot Robert Downey Jr. look alike ;)

Omg this show is SO GOOD! I haven’t been in love with an animated samurai since “Samurai Champloo”, and Blue Eye Samurai feels like reuniting with a beloved friend (who happens to be a master lol). I cannot say enough great things about this series : the design, storytelling, historical accuracies, all stunning and captivating! ❤️ 🇯🇵 As if we needed ANOTHER reason to be obsessed with Japanese culture ❤️ Episode 5 was …deserving of an Emmy 🎥 ⭐️ 🥲 Praying for more seasons 🙏🏾

The trailer for this movie was OUTSTANDING and really set us up for high expectations. The film had so much potential, but unfortunately fell short of being a genuinely good movie via a pace that moved too fast (virtually zero time spent building characters or storyline), sub par CGI for the invading alien race, and lack of actual dialog. In my opinion, this actress mirrors "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart in that instead of acting, she resorts to prolonged breathing, gagging, gasps, whimpers, and/or sighing heavily throughout the entire film. Idk if that was intentional, but I hope not because it legitimately bothered me. Again, so much potential (I had really hoped for a modern "War of the Worlds" meets "Cloverfield" or something). The cinematography, setting, costumes, etcetera were decent, but due to the rushed pace and missing dialog, I was left feeling largely annoyed as a spectator as opposed to rapport with the protagonist or her purpose (whatever tf that was lol). In No One Will Save You's defense, It is true that I've never seen an alien movie quite like this one, it is unique and worth a watch in that regard I SUPPOSE...yet it somehow manages to be kind of uninspired. Which is weird for an alien theme. In the end, I feel that this film is a GREAT example of why written word and dialogs are paramount to an enduring film. You can't just have heavy breathing and a wide-eyed lead actress kind of fighting aliens for her mediocre life and hope for a cohesive tale. In conclusion, please, don't ever do a speechless alien movie again..it's possible, but imo falls into a category of something you should just try to avoid doing lol. (*save for "A Quite Place" which was marvelous* )
