Look, this is spoilery, so if you have not played, DONT READ! I loved everything save for one thing. The whispers. I get the meta meaning, the fans are the whispers... but they (as fate and or destiny entites) just dont belong in VII. I am fine with a re-imagining! But then call it that, not a remake. This is hard for me to do... I enjoyed so much, but the whispers took me out of it too much. 3.5 out of 5 from me. I do look forward to the future of VII and hope to hell there are mo parallel time lines or things like that. It gave me chills to see Zack live, but just bring up questions about timelines... I am not upset, but I am concerned for the future releases and the direction it is taking. Want to do a re-imagined VII, great, I'm on board, but make it work and honestly, I am not sure this whisper thing worked.
