Do not believe the negative reviews. I am fat, and I love this show. It paints a startlingly aware image of how beauty is perceived, while not skimping on the comedy side. The unfortunate truth to being fat is that not everyone is going to like you. In fact, some people are going to find you downright ugly. Same with being skinny. It’s helpful, but it’s not magic (as you will find in this show). The comedy is dark, and satirical. So I’m assuming that half the negative reviewers lack the creativity to understand that we are not actually laughing point blank at far people being well, fat. It goes much deeper than that. And somehow, it works. Don’t be shy to watch this. It is better than the trailer and reviews show, in fact, I’m willing to bank this one as one of the best comedies I’ve seen in the past few years. Just give it a go. It may help you take yourself less seriously. I promise it’s worth it.
