This is a fabulous satirical film that cleverly highlights the craziness of American politics and media. Facing an existential crisis, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, in character as Astronomers, attempt to convince the world that a comet is hurtling towards Earth. Meryl Streep is fascinating as the Trump-esque President leading the “Don’t Look Up” movement as a comet-denier. Funny but equally moving, this film is set to become a cult-classic, or at the very least, the basis of many memes!
