From the day i watched jallikattu, I was just trying to conclude the movie in few lines but unable to express just like the other reviewers. Below are some of the thoughts , decoded from the movie using my own algorithm...
It's a different movie with a good cinematic experience..it doesn't have a story but trying to show some of the dark portion of our current civilized society which is still making us to compare with the wild primitive men.
Mob lynching...
The movie shows how a mob is creating..Mob will be assosciated with an incident basically connected to a principle or ideology...here the buffalo is symbolised as the one who breached the same...people consider him as the culprit and will make him the victim of their atrocities..
We can see examples from the biblical age(sinful woman) to the recent incident of Madhu in "Saksharakeralam"(a tribal guy beaten up by mob and killed in kerala for stealing food)...it's happening in our country , eventhough we are very much proud about our culture or 'Sanskar'.
Social Media attack...
The mentality of new generation who thinks that they are civilized also having that inner desire of cornering someone by joining the mob in social media....we can see lot of examples in social media..it's a platform to express our views but sometimes it will break the code of conduct..without checking the fact, people will make undesirable comments, forward the same and defame a person who might be innocent....
I saw the movie once only.. , there can be lot of layers which needs to be decoded....and if you are serious about the art of the movie , society, philosophy etc..its worth to have a try..
