A good attempt by Hotstar but the series should have been made more crispy with shorter episodes. A few side stories are not really relevant and only add to slowing down the pace. Infact the 2nd and 3rd episode are a drag so much so that you question yourself if you can watch any further. The pace does pick up after the 4th episode and its a good watch thereafter , though the final episode could have had some better editing. The life of this series is no doubt Pankaj Tripathi is the street smart lawyer Madhav Mishra. Vikrant Massey looks perfectly fit for the innocent Aditya. Jackie shines in his limited screen space and provides the viewer with some gem dialogues. The entire series hangs on these 3 actors and had it not been for them it could have been a disaster. Tigmanshu has knack of stretching stories and CI suffers from this vice as well. If Hotstar thought CI would do what Sacred Games did to Netflix they are surely some distance away
