I read about this series in TV Guide and thought I would check it out. I was hooked after the first episode.I would often watch 2-3 episodes at a time. Too often " faith based" films are too simplistic , do a poor job of showing Christians dealing with real life issues and frankly poorly acted. This is not the case with this show. Kudos to Roma Downey and the cast . They all were very believable in their roles . I don't want to be a spoiler by giving away any of the topics that are dealt with. This family does not live in a "bubble". They struggle through several challenging situations . I appreciate that prayer is shown openly in the show. With it being filmed in 2018, I hope if Amazon "green lights" it for future seasons and that the actors will be available to continue in their roles. It wouldn't be the same without this stellar cast. Thanks to Prime Video for dropping all three seasons at one time.
