I liked this Batman more than most of the previous ones. The fact that the characters were not as over the top was great, and Robert Pattinson did a great job as the depressed, rather grungy Bruce Wayne (reminiscent of Brancon Lee's The Crow, I though). It was very unlike most movies made these days and more like something from the 90s, which I liked. Not as much action, an actual plot, good characters, and I liked the fact that Bruce Wayne was not an arrogant playboy who likes to show off, but someone who has pretty much given up on his personal life. It made much more sense this way - I mean, who would risk their life on a daily basis if they have a thriving social life? Good actors, also Colin Farrell is unrecognizable, but brilliant as usual. Looking forward to seeing the next part.

I read the books a while back and loved them. The show is also brilliant, thanks to the great actors (especially Rebecca Ferguson, she is just as I imagined Juliette to be) and the fact that the silo looks exactly as I pictured it. The show is entertaining and tense and the score works really well. I also love the fact that - in both the books and the series - it doesn't seem to matter whether someone is male or female. Everyone is equal, with women working in mechanics and computers etc., same as men, no traditional role divisions. Can't wait to see how season 1 ends. If it's anything like in the book, it will be very entertaining indeed.

I like this show, even though it certainly has its flaws. It is entertaining and has some very good actors (especially Christina Ricci, who is brilliant and by far the most interesting character, I think - I wish they had included more scenes with her as they were definitely the funniest and most entertaining). However, there are some things that really bothered me. First of all, after being attacked by an animal and having half her face chewed off, you would expect one of the characters to be hideously disfigured. But no, she just has some scars, but except for that, her skin looks perfect. Very bad make-up artist. Also, the young Natalie has clearly bleached her hair. Why does it not grow out? Half a year later, her hair looks exactly the same. Did she carry a bottle of bleach with her on the plane? Just a small thing, but it really annoyed me. And it would have been soooo easy to get it right! Finally, the behaviour of the coach in the last episode is not very realistic and there are a number of holes in the plot that made the show worse than it could have been. Anyway, despite its weaknesses, I would watch the second season and would recommend it.
