Rating: 1/10 would not pay 60$ again Modern warfare is easily the worst call of duty game ever released. It’s entirely too slow and campy, the claymore is awfully overpowered and glitchy, you can hear foot steps from way too far and the mini map is basically useless. Devs admitted they purposefully made the maps with tons of camp spots for new and bad players to have a “safe space” to enjoy the game while completely disregarding the desires of those who have been with the franchise for years. Essentially creating a game where the time limit on modes like team deathmatch run down before the score is reached and it’s highly rare to see a player with 20 kills in a game. Your decisions in game are essentially either sit in a corner with your overpowered shotgun and claymores at all entrances waiting all game for someone to come into ur sights or be the person that goes runs into the camper and die. Killstreaks were brought back so no one plays objective anymore in games like domination so good luck getting a decent win loss. I had a hard time deciding which was worse between this, infinite warfare, and ww2 upon playing the game for a week, I realized that it wasn’t even a competition. Easily one of the worst games of the year and the worst cod. My expectations weren’t high to begin with considering the dev team that made it but wow. Didn’t think a cod game this bad was possible... but hey maybe them bringing back old maps will change some stuff since this dev team hasn’t come up with a good new map in 8 years. Only reason it even got 1/10 is because the campaign is good. But it doesn’t justify this god awful multiplayer that these devs should feel ashamed for having released
