I have been a MK fan for as long as I can remember. I also realize that video games are difficult in converting to a successful movie. The hype this movie was getting for months amped the expectations of many, including myself. With that said, go in watching this movie with a clear mind, because the plot and screenwriting just doesn't do the games' their justice. The action and gore was fantastic, plenty of moments that will provide a sense of satisfaction. I give this film 3/5 stars for having the action we all wanted and expected, but the storytelling was such a mess and lost me in many moments.
