I thought the stunts were decent, but not spectacular, but the non stop explanation of AI, an incredibly bad plot twist, poor dialogue, wasted characters, etc so disappointed me that I can only give it 3 stars and even that is generous. The movie was lacking in humor and character development. There was very little camaraderie amongst the team. I also have to say that I don't think Ms. Atwell owned every scene she was in as some have suggested; in fact her character's repeated wrong decisions were irritating to say the least. Then, acting completely out of character, Hunt becomes Katie Holmes gaga over her and even asks her to join the IMF. Unlike prior installments, I do not see myself watching this one again. Killing Ilsa will make it difficult for me to watch the last two as well. Her character added so much to the films, I cannot believe Cruz and Company were stupid enough to kill her off. The only thing that will make me see part two is if someone tells me she is miraculously still alive.
