A love story that's not a love story.

This film was good enough to make me want to write a review. It was a scathing and surreal critique of what it takes to live in America through the perspective of a Salvadoreño immigrant. Well-written story, on-point casting, there was a lot of intelligence that went into this project. And it somehow managed to have this over-all wholesome vibe. If you want a hit of that high you used to get leaving the theatre feeling inspired, try this.
