Crazy amount of paid reviews for this series. So many five stars claiming its true to the source material, while the only similarities are character names. Grew up playing all the games and reading most of the earlier books, and can tell you if you are a fan of the original content you will be disappointed of the show. Had they used new characters and events separate of the game series maybe it would have been more successful. I genuinely don't know how they thought completely changing the protagonist and throwing away source material would generate interests. Plus for 10 million an episode, the quality is pretty bad. You will see untextured guns, missing sounds and other props that were forgotten about in post. I've seen tiktokers with better production value
