It is every lovely genre combined into one suspense , romance , thriller , heartache and fiction . The characters are perfectly shaped with respect to their backgrounds . Sloan is a compassionate , loving and caring soul who inspires us all to be like her . Despite of the torture she may have gone through in her life she never gave up and remained determined to wake up every morning knowing her life will be a new kind of hell worse than the day before . Her selflessness is no short of spectacular . Carter is a realistic , honest , frank and truthful individual . He in no way mislead Sloan or gave her false hope , regardless of how much he loved her . Asa has a disturbing character but nevertheless how much he acted like a villain we couldn't help but sympathize with him due to his cruel and undeserved past . All he wanted was for someone to love him , to hold him the way he had never been held before . His methods may have been completely unacceptable but his intentions and wishes are no different from ours . This book highlights that love always finds a way . That monsters and made not born and any soul tortured , confused and abused incidentally would not have time to mourn , That villains we may come to hate due to their present had an equally terrifying past where they too were once broken and frail . And serves proof that the only thing that drives the world is one invisible but justified source , love .
