This isn’t good show writing, in fact First Kill And this show are on the same level of quality. Only First Kill was unique. This show throws the same old tired tropes at you every episode, hoping the audience will be able to follow along to something an undergraduate hold write. Do the writers not understand that they don’t have to combo the last ten years of Addams family content into their family lore? The Lion King musical was able to stay independent, as well as the comics And the two TV shows. Wicked was able to stay separate from the books And even from the original Wizard of Oz story. So then why was it so difficult for Tim Burton, who has a resume as long as my forearm, unable to separate art forms And their meanings? Maybe it’s time older creators retire if they can’t keep up with story and character separation across media platforms.
