Incredibly powerful, covering topics and behaviors that are still an issue to this day.
Relationship between Sean and Daniel is cute and so depressingly sad. You go through everything from the beginning to one of the seven variations of the end. Each one is scary, it will make you cry and be depressed for 2 days. The 15 years later ending was just devastating, compared to any other Life Is Strange, by the aspect of everything the brothers went through, led to this point of being inevitably separated.
It destroyed me.
In my opinion, DONTNOD has perfected their ways. Tempo of the game, graphics and environments just draw me in so much that I wish to be accompanying Sean and Daniel there. It captures magical essence of the world and being on the run, in lonely places that are craved for in real life; to be far away from civilisation and other people.
The story is refined and has a more realistic portrayal of reality, the attitudes and human behavior. At times it's inspiring and energizing, but it doesn't outweigh the most emotionally damaging parts of dialogue and events between the brothers and the world.
I can honestly say that I love Season 2 more than the original, and just as everyone, I know that the story of Max and Chloe was the ultimate treasure of the video game industry.
The end's long term impact scenes are killers.
