Spoiler alert!!!! Of coures its visually pleasing and a fun go. Bring the kids they don't mind that its the same story again and again. Planet killing devices that we cant destroy but suddenly we can, a huge facility dependent on one small control that we cant blow up but suddenly we can. The original triliogy was so magical because no one had ever thought of these things. The new trilogy is so dependent on visuals that they have forgotten about story. The movie feels formulaic and each plot twist seems fabricated in a way that is not organic. The force does not flow. In a world of made up fantasy the new trilogy is comprised of ok movies with pieces of star wars sprinkled about. The whole movie has a "we are so proud of ourselves" feel that cannot be shaken but force lightning is always a crowd pleaser though so thank you for that. This movie wont be the end and im glad about that but my new hope is that we can start all over again and return to strike down the empire once more.
