As much as I liked the first film, I disliked the second one. A comedy film about a strange family, which was intended as a light parody of horror films, turned into some kind of drama with not funny jokes, “weighted” by themes of racism and apartheid, which are simply inappropriate in a comedy film. And yet, it’s clear that the creators have some kind of prejudice towards blondes, because all the villainous roles fell on them.
