I almost died when ShengYi died and that Zhou Ying could never be with the man she loved and him with her. It's too cruel and tragic. I really wished they lived happily ever after. This is the part of the story I dreamed that they would unite and be together forever but ShengYi saved Zhou Ying one last time and this time he really died. It's too heartbreaking. Two star crossed lovers wrong timing but love each other so much. When they finally confessed their love it was such a moment. I truly wished they ended up together. This by far has been the greatest best Chinese drama series I have watched my entire life. It deserves every award, more than 5 stars. I am a fan of Sun Li. Every show that has her, I wish to watch and I think Chen Xiao and her are perfect on screen couple if they could act in every show together, I think I would watch them forever. Also because I can't seem to find or watch 'Legend of Mi Yue' that might be on par with this but I still think eventhough that other series is not accessible, 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' is truly a masterpiece. Every a acTor from child to adult was so perfectly casted, it was astounding the acting was superb and just so well casted. Every single actor has to be acknowledged.
