I had really been looking forward to seeing this movie but wound up being quite a bit disappointed with it. Every Dungeons and Dragons creature in the film was shown in the trailer so there were no fun surprises in that department. The best and really only great joke in the movie was also shown in the trailer and so was the cameo of characters from the old cartoon. The action sequences were ok but nothing spectaular. Overall I felt the movie was pretty bland and really no better than the 2000's movie. At least the first d&d movie the chatracters had more development.
