Pixar finally did what they have always been afraid of doing; get stale. While Onward is cute it’s an obvious storyline that you know what’s going to happen from the first five minutes of the movie. Also the traditional Pixar humor was majorly lacking in this movie. I believe Pixar dodged a bullet and was very lucky that you too worldly circumstances movie theaters or shut down so that the disaster at the box office was not that obvious.
