Ren, the main character of the movie, is a scientist played wonderfully by Jessica De Gouw who finds a new way to make this technology better and make money off of it. She falls deeper into the world of "OtherLife," though, and finds herself caught in a web of lies, manipulation, and moral problems. The story of the movie makes you think, and the way it shows altered states of awareness is visually stunning and well thought out. The idea of changing memory and time brings up deep questions about what happens when you mess with reality. You have to see "OtherLife" if you like science fiction films that push the limits of technology and the human experience. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you think about what reality is and the moral problems that modern technology can cause.
