I very much enjoyed this book and it was scary. One character I didn't enjoy reading was Felix. Even though he has this ability to see spirits from a young age, when his son Asher starts to see them, he does not believe his son. Enjoyed all the other characters though.

I absolutely adored this book and Fredrick of course. Cassie is looking for somewhere cheap to live. She answers a Craigslist posting about a cheap apartment. Cassie wonders why it is so cheap $200 a month!! The owner of the apartment sleeps all day and is out all night. When Cassie moves in there is no food in the fridge or cupboards, no utensils to cook with. Who is Fredrick? Cassie is about to find out. I loved the connection between Cassie and Fredrick and there was some pretty good spicy scenes in there too.
