*my ranting may contain spoilers* I’ll be honest, “Cursed” isn’t that great. I could find shows about similar legends that have a way better plots than this, like the show “Merlin.” Here are my reasons for why people probably shouldn’t watch this: 1. The plot is confusing and really leads me nowhere. There’s so many flashbacks that it’s almost hard to keep up. 2. The introduction to the whole show could’ve been better and the writers could have added more and not leave me to my own interpretation of what’s happening. They could of showed us a map of all the little towns/cities, the background on who the fey are, etc. 3. Some of the acting is a little bit subpar. 4. It’s sometimes the little things that aren’t explained or shown that get me. In one scene, they show the weeping monk shooting an arrow at an unsuspecting Arthur, then, in the next episode they show Arthur (unscraped, not telling us if he dodged it or anything) fighting the monk with swords. 5. Nimue could’ve done so much to aid her people, but she kind of didn’t. Nimue is supposed to be powerful, isn’t she? They didn’t really show me that, she didn’t even seem like she knew how to take control of her powers. 6. The fey could’ve been less careless when traveling through the woods, they broke branches and led many clues to their secret den (like drops of blood). 7. Merlin the magnificent isn’t that magnificent. I haven’t finished the season yet and don’t know whether to even continue.
