Just watch the original, Alien. It's the same movie, except much better and without the Goonies crew. They even have the synthetic known as Ash who Ian Holm played, who had the same agenda as this synthetic does. I suspect all the good reviews are by people who aren't old enough to have been introduced to an alien that actually created horror and suspense during a time when science fiction was largely for kids. If you've seen the very first Alien, you've seen a better version of this movie. If not, you'll probably enjoy it. It's your two hours, so it's your choice, but after watching this new version, I was hoping for something original and less wooden and predictable. This one is an A-list FX movie with a B-movie teen-campground horror story.

It's not a masterpiece. It's okay, but let's be realistic about the premise. It's 'The Mentalist' meets 'So Help Me Todd', and in no way does it ever approach 'Elementary' quality. It's okay for passing time on a rainy day, but it's not a must-see, or a see-it-again sort of show. Once is enough. This is more of a two and a half star, but Google doesn't do fractions.

It was just okay. 'Action Comedy' is not the word I'd use for it. Sure, some action and comedic parts, but largely it's the world's longest romantic comedy with a heavy Harlequin hand writing it. The romance and comedy didn't mesh with the campy romance novel influence it clearly had. Sorry, but it was just a time filler.

This movie takes far too long to make any point, and so much of the dialogue serves absolutely no point at all even in the full context of the movie. This tried to be ironic, and in a way it succeeded. It was bad enough to be compared to The Room, but not bad enough to even be unintentionally funny or frightening.

Funny show, and Chance is a scene-stealer for sure. It's nice to see a sitcom that shows that yes, we ALL have flaws. It doesn't try and create some perfect world in some saccarine, gagging way so many watered-down, politically correct sitcoms do these days. It seems too many comedies are afraid to offend the cancel culture as it is.

Ugh. On the third episode, when I see people college-age or slightly older assuming that having professional disagreements in archeology as man-splaining, it's time to shut this show off. Clearly these treasure hunters are making 2022 judgements on history, which means they're bad archeologists. Every scientist, male or female, faced backlash from their peers. It's how the scientific method works. Ideas come out, and they're always challenged. The Nick Cage movies weren't great, but they were entertaining without resorting to cancel culture nonsense masquerading as historical sciences.

Emo Batman. Nope. This is Twilight with capes. I never thought I'd be nostalgic for Affleck Batman, but this did it.

Basically a long version of a Rick and Morty episode delving into multiverse theories, very slowly intertwined with conspiracy. Too much emphasis on pointless camera shots that make it feel more like a student film. Second star for it being well-acted.

Loved the show, and episode five really lived up to expectations. Not exactly sure what anyone was expecting, but suffice to say, it ended up exactly in the fashion the Khaleesi of a Dothrakian dead king with an axe to grind and on a world-revenge tour would respond with so many recent emotional betrayals. WAY too many people were expecting sanity and balance from a character that reacted in exactly the way she was shaping up to be.
