I decided to try Poor Things out seeing how it had many Oscar noms and wins. It was horrible from the start, kept waiting for it to get better. Finally turned it off when she started masterbating at the Dining room table. Baby brain or not, I've never met a child that played with their private parts at the table. Not sure what everyone else is seeing about it being so special. Barbie was much better IMO. I love Emma Stone, but think this was her worst role ever. Gave me silent picture vibes, not sure if that's what everyone is into now.

Feels like the storyline is rushed. Casting was horrible, the only role given to a caucasian woman is of a stereotypical obese lesbian bartender, while the poc get the Doctor and business owner roles. All while the yt man's role is never touched in these remakes. So, DEI only applies to the women roles. Make it make sense. I am a feminist for a reason. Hollywood picks n chooses who they want to give equality to. Why could there not be a black or Hispanic lead male. 🤔
