I love this show! The story line is very intense but rewarding. The actors did an excellent job of pulling the viewer into their emotional struggles and the character's emotions were often quite palpable as if you yourself were feeling their pain and/or happiness. Most viewers may watch in the beginning intending to focus solely on Ferhat and Asli (Ibrahim Çelikkol and Birce Akalay have fierce chemistry) but the supporting cast is excellent in its own right. I have never enjoyed an ensemble cast as much as this one! Some characters make you love them, while others are despised. Either way you become invested in the actions and emotions of the entire family. The story ends well, which is a real plus, because Turkish dramas have a habit of not ending the way one hopes. The musical score/soundtrack for this show is superb and can be found on Spotify. I would recommend this show to anyone who is new to Turkish programming, it's a good starter if you've never experienced it before. It is also an excellent choice for the romantic at heart ❤ P.S. If anyone knows where I can find my own Ferhat....point the way! 😉
