We may have seen other Jesus films, but this show (to me) was indeed a 'fresh take of the 2000 year old story. Never have I seen any Jesus film that deeply explored Jesus' relationship between His disciples, the same way goes to their relationship with their fellow disciples. The writers of the show made every character "relatable". Giving them backstories which we've never seen and really "isn't" in the scriptures, but surely made it 'plausible'. And with that, I could definitely say that the writers really did a good job in making these real people 'real'. And I am sincerely thankful. Overall, it is a good series that will make you emotional at times. You will be overwhelmed by the brilliant performance from the Actors with the wonderful music and score. Classic storytelling indeed, and definitely DIFFERENT from other Jesus films. Patiently waiting for the next Season. :) #Notcringeworthy #Bingeworthy
