Normally i dont contemplate as much on a movie so much so that it makes me to pen it down. But today i am making an attempt as this movie Student of the year 2 made me think as to why some directors or producers do not think while writing such a script or investing so much money into it. Where do these ppl actually keep their brains?? In their pockets?? Perhaps !! .. "Ridiculous" will be a small word. In SOTY 1 v saw these exceptionally glamorous looking colleges which for us can nly be delusional. I mean where are these colleges found in India?? I really wanna know. This millenial movie could only offer us some biceps, triceps , lats, glutes, crisp 6 pack bodies , the not so authentic college culture and ya not to forget the line of clothes worn by the female leads. They seemed one hand stretch away from a wardrome malfunction. We live in an era of a Raazi or a Uri where we can resonate emotionally to every part of it. Cut to there is SOTY 2 where they themselves dont connect to each other forget the audience. We dont deserve to be exposed to dialogues like "Din tera tha saal mera hoga" at a loop. Its miserable after a point. The 2 glamorous actress have done what they were told to without putting any extra effort and Tiger was not less than a "flying jatt" with insane stunts and action. Overall SOTY 2 is predictable and far from original. If you are too bored in life with no options left, go and watch this movie. Rest, Rest in peace...
