I'm not good at FromSoftware-style games, and I get too angry too quickly to enjoy them. The S&S games are a massive exception. Salt & Sacrifice is an amazing game, and it is totally out of my comort-zone. If you played the first one, it's largely the same gamepley loop. You'll start off terrified and getting murdered, but with a little grinding, dodging, and memorizing level layouts, you will be killing mages and crafting/upgrading your gear like crazy. Co-op is a blast, but is not necessary to win and have fun. Again, I am not very good at games like these, but I am destroying this one. I chose the fighter, and am mainly using greatblades and vangaurds. At level 15 I was able to fight two mages at once very comfortably. There are some decent difficulty spikes, just like the first, but when you hit that wall is when you know it's time to get back to the very satisfying mage-grind for more Salt and crafting materials. No bugs or glitches at 14 hours in. This is a very solid, and well done game. If you're used to FromSoftware games, buy this now. If you're like me, buy it anyway, but you had better bring your A game, and be ready to get sucked into Salt & Sacrifice.
