This is a horror movie classic! I saw in 1982 (when my son was only about 1 years old, he is now 38 years old) it was scary, creepy, gory, and suspenseful then....and equally as good now.

I thought the acting was great by Denzel Washington’s performance as what seemed to be a man living with ghosts and regretting his life choices. All-the-while suffering over an unsolved case. The vocals in the movie was low almost muffled. My daughter kept asking why Rami Malek didn’t open his mouth wide enough so that the audience could hear what he was saying. I like Rami Malek as an actor, so I enjoyed his performance. Jared Leto performance was creepy in a run-down trailer park kinda way. Overall, I enjoy the movie, it reminded me of the classic crime thriller noir.

Weird, plotless, horrifying violent and very graphic. On the positive side the graphics were good The cinematography was beautiful. I think Ari Aster had to be extremely high or desensitized when writing this movie. Two hours of people clubbing & tenderizing other people, Paganism, Pubic hairs in food (very nasty and unnecessary). Why was the scene with old ladies in the orgy so disgusting, and freaking long?!? If I wanted to see an old saggy bodies with low hanging boos, stretch marks and spider veins, I could look at my own 😂😂 I didn’t find this movie scary, or sinister, just long and goofy.
