Emma stone used to be an immediate yes for me when ever someone asked if I wanted to see a movie with her in it. But after watching several episodes of the Curse and sitting through Kinds of Kindness I am now going to question her choice of scripts. This was the worst of the worst. The trailer didn't lead me to believe the movie was going to turn out the way it did, which is good on the trailer and I try not to buy into movie reviews, but I just had to say, THE BAD REVIEWS ARE ALL CORRECT! If I wasn't watching this with my daughter I would have walked out at several points. There is nothing worse than a movie that shows the complete worst of humans. I go to movies to get away from the real world, not to be immersed in the worst aspects of it. I still enjoy a dark comedy once in a while, but had very little humor what so ever and what little humor was there was purged immediately by an overbearing desire by the film maker to shock his audience with absurdity or depravity. A movie that leaves you feeling as though there are no redeeming qualities in the world is not worth watching.
