I pushed through it, and it was a good effort. Clearly, a lot of love went into the writing of the film, but it lacked focus and was often too general. Additionally, it started to fall apart in the later sections when some very strange decisions were made by the lead character, which included failure of logic and some very unsafe choices - it just didn't track with an elite solo astronaut who was trusted with this mission. The climax also came upon us very, very fast. It would have benefitted from saving time earlier in the film to spend later.
Finally, what really killed it for me was the sets. I would have expected them in a primary school stage production, but it was painfully clear that the director had no eye for such things - visible brackets, cheap monitors, duck tape, exposed screws ... not quite in line with a space craft. A little would have gone a long way.
