This was a joy to absolutely read! I particularly enjoyed following Sebastian's coming out journey where he is surrounded by the Latter-Day Saints/Mormon culture and his growing relationship with the protagonist, Tanner. The protagonist, too, has his struggles watching him make TERRIBLE decisions but also FANTASTIC ones that involve patience and depth. And his school project on writing a book about, well, his entire life hence the name of the actual book autoboyography, haha 11/10, would recommend.

It comes down to the little things, right? Silvera gives us the small details in between not just the main characters of Rufus and Mateo, but with the other characters who are all connected in one way or another in this big universe, you actions affect the actions of another person even if they're always strangers to you. Rufus and Mateo have a rocky start but as the books comes to an end, it has humor, real connections, and asking those questions that we are uncomfortable to ask: Death. Death is always a shadow in this book but the experiences Rufus and Mateo almost make you forget what's coming. Almost. A real-page turner, this one!

I honestly did love the book but what kept me turning page after page was the characters. Arthur who was one big jungle mess and he kept me entertained, Dylan is the best friend that we all need and Ben was the calming effect all the characters needed. The open-ending to the book was an unexpected touch, leaving the reader wondering what truly is the end but perhaps the authors want the reader to choose their ending?

This was an absolute delight to read! It was humorous, engaging, and a real page-turner. I was immediately pulled in by Rafe's parents as they are hands down one of the best parents I've read as they come out to be very supportive and understandable as well as quirky. The story offers the flipside of coming out, or more like reverse coming out and in going through Rafe's adventure with reverse coming out. Such a great read, would highly recommend!
