This newer version of the life of St. Bernadette (2011) has an extremely authentic look and mood throughout the filming. You will visit Lourdes and Nevers with Bernadette, her family, the clergy and her followers in France with a realism that all the earlier films, in my opinion, couldn't create. I recommend this film as, quite possibly, the definitive version of her amazing life.
