Jump on this game after watchin Iron Pineapple's video featuring it and thought it might be cool. I remember seeing it come out and thought $40 is a bit too steep for an new unproven IP. After playing about 7-9 hours, I can say I've been having fun. I would say given it's current content prolly wait for a minor discount but even the the early access is worth about $30. I read an earlier review and wanted to say it's not that bad. Yeah it can be difficult and yeah I wish there was more content but there's obviously planned content as there are multiple areas that are currently locked off and in development. Think how it was when Hades was in early access, just a competent/polished gameplay loop with minimal story which hopefully will be flushed out on full release. There is an odd pacing to the first level where once you level up your gear and get good/lucky run going it's not that hard; in fact you could probably immediately go to the next level and not realize much of a difference in difficulty which I find strange. All-in-all I'm looking forward to the full release rn I prolly got about and hour or 2 left of gameplay which is fine for me. If you want to try an interesting take on the soul-like formula fitted with a destiny like gunplay this might be your thing.
