I got into the Overwatch game late, only buying it last year. I enjoyed it. It was casual enough to have fun but competitive enough to constantly keep you on your toes. I got the opportunity to play collegiate level Overwatch, something I'm no stranger to, being a long time CSGO pro amateur. I picked it up quickly, learning metas, strats and comps. Then the Blizzard inevitably struck.
"We're taking the servers down to prep for one of the biggest launches of the year". 5 and a half hours after launch time due to the servers not being ready, I finally got in to the most unbalanced game I've ever seen. A DPS main, I found myself running around as Soldier, Cree and Sojourn uncontested. The lack of shield leaves ample room to walk anywhere you want, dealing unreal amounts of damage from a clearly not thought out Sojourn. First competitive game back, I lay down 26 kills, died 0 times, with POTG. It's a broken game, a shell of it's former self and the updated looks and new maps can do nothing to hide just how terribly thought out the game is. Guess I'll be either looking at "20000 players ahead of you" or going back to CSGO. Congrats Blizzard, you lost all the hype 3 hours after launch and removed the game that was most people's last thing to fall back on if OW2 failed.
*EDIT* they didn't change the HORRIBLE competitive ranking system, now 1 star.
