Just watched episode 5 and I have seen all of the previous episodes. Wow. Do not be fooled into thinking that you will finally get answers on this case. Rech, Candace Owens and the Dailywire provide next-to-nothing new. The entire series has been about how Netflix leaves all of these things out to paint Avery as a saint and law enforcement as a villain. Convicting a murderer will set the record straight.
“I am sick and tired of media deception” is a quote from Candace Owens. Laughable. The biggest media deception in this entire case was Ken Kratz going on the news 20 some years ago creating a story about a confession that was I no way shape or form him reading a statement or summarizing one. He added every frill and bone chilling detail he possibly could’ve to a live newscast. He made it up. And he did it to sway public opinion. Plan and simple. Ken Kratz shows up in this docuseries in the trailer and you feel pretty excited that he’s in it. Don’t be. Total bust. He argues with a truther about if the potential framer should or shouldn’t have leaned branches against the RAV4 or not. Comically bad. Andy Colbern is in it too..you think “this will be great!” It isn’t. They literally explain away the report that was written by Link about the phone call taken by Colbern from the previous crime Steven was exonerated for as “some detective called about some assault that some other guy was in for”. That’s it. “I got 20-30 phone called a shift”. But he remembers this one from almost a decade before at the time? Fassbender is in there as well and he explains that he needs to send Link and Colbern to the Avery residence and garage multiple times because they needed a lot of people to search a huge 40 acre plot and they were evidence techs. That’s it. That’s all it says. 😂😂😂
This is bad
The trailer hype vs the final product here is easily the greatest let down I have ever seen. I have officially unsubscribed to the Daily Wire + due to their over promotion of this 🗑️ show
