I was trying to figure out was Quentin was after In this hodge podge of a story. It feels like he is trying to be nostalgic but it never really gripped me. Maybe you have to live in Hollywood or be an actor, writer or producer from that era to truly appreciate it. It feels very guy heavy and shallow. Occasionally there is a good performance by Di Caprio and Pitt but to me the storytelling was too scattered and shallow.
