Just watched Kanguva on Prime. Here is what i felt The movie feels more like a collection of clippings, with no continuity between them. Thankfully, I can't comment on the sound. Thanks to my broken zebronics. I liked some of the dialogues, but the story and the acting, especially with the attempt to mimic Vikings, lacked impact. Karthi is becoming a much better actor than Suriya. While Suriya is undeniably amazing, Karthi brings a more natural touch to his performances. No matter what role he takes on, it never feels fake. In fact, the only genuine thing in this movie is Karthi's acting. If there’s a second part, I hope they skip the past storyline and focus on a sci-fi angle with a future plot. Kanguva first half - Siva thannai Rajamouli aga unarntha tharunam Kanguva second half - Siva thannai viking ah unarntha tharunam when Suriya said "ipadi oru movie tamil cinema pathathila"... yes yes true true. Paaka venam🤣🤣🤣 we will stick to telugu for such movies for now. Kanguva - yaro Siva manasula pugundu thaan oru wiking warrior nu namaba vechurukanga. People should stick to our ancestors' stories and visuals instead of constantly copying from the West. Even the makeup feels like it’s inspired by Viking styles.

(there may be spoilers) I don't understand the 1 and 2 stars comments. And I don't understand why indians wanted Alia to outshine Gadot. And the comparison of Priyanka and Alia is sickening. First of all Gal is the main lead. Get that into your head. And Alia in this movie is a young adult hacker from India. And she did her role well. Very well tbh. The concept of the movie is good. Is this movie amazing? Nope. But is it bad? Not at all. It's a simple MI kinda movie.

I mean we don't ask for logic in big hero movies. So why ask that in this small-budget low-key humor (kinda) movie? I give it 3 stars cuz I didn't skip. It wasn't funny but it wasn't a cringe-fest or boring either. It was ok.

We need movies like this to remind us that we sometimes take life for granted, we take our family members, our loved ones, our pets for granted. Anything could happen the next second and this movie is just a reminder, a sad and an important one.

It is a simple yet beautiful movie. Nothing new yet written well. Wonderful performances by all actors. All behaviour in the movie is justified. Humans are that simple. And kavin and the actress is going to places for sure. Very neat and natural performances.

This is one movie with an interesting story but with lots of plot holes and a bad script. At the same time the cinematography is just perfect. Super thrilling. Actors nailed it.
