Beautiful movie. The animation is wonderful and the ending made me cry. I love how they didn’t falter with having it be set in fascist Italy and didn’t make the movie all about Pinocchio having to obey in every way. It is such an interest take to have S.J. Cricket be defensive of his old home and to make it not a musical. I also love how they didn’t go for Feelgood but went more towards teaching a lesson. Amazing movie with a great plot and characters.
