Overall overhyped. The writing reads like YA and you forget the main characters are supposed to be adults. It starts very slow and the book could have been significantly shorter since not much of Addie’s 300 years were going to be explored in history or different locations, I thought it was a waste of a good premise. A lot of the book seemed repetitive and the main character lacked real growth and development.
