Got to say when I noticed it was delving into cults and religious insanity I was put off. Found it hard to read the religious leaders spouting off that I whizzed though those bits. But the detail in historical events that all tie up is JKR’s gift. I couldn’t put it down. It’s a long read but that what gets me every time. I get immersed in the story telling and characters that I have to read one more chapter, then one more! Yes some if it is unbelievable but I find if a character gets me angry, frustrated or annoyed then I definitely getting into the story telling. Some if strikes and robins cases are a bit far fetched and unbelievable but I love reading about how the solve it E specially when they meet up or are in the car discussing and working it out. Their relationship and mysterious leaves me want in to read more. I will carry on reading the novels and quite happy that they are so long, means more time with the characters.
