I was really disappointed with this series as apart from some characters names and plots it is nothing like the Karen Slaughters books. This doesn’t do her clever writing any justice at all. The fact that Angie is somehow a good character when in fact she tormented, belittled and used Will for her own gain, then dumped him once she got what she wanted. And where is the clever, lovely Sara Linton??!!!! Will’s character in the book is nothing like the Will in the series. The only link is his dyslexia, like that’s it. His appearance in the books is he’s a very tall, rugged man who’s come from a horrific upbringing, not this weird, small OCD guy. Yes he has his quirks but I did not envision him to look or act like that in the series… Did the writers of the series actually read the books and not just the back covers??
