The experience with Tekken 8 has been pretty distasteful as a long time player. I think the changes made to 8 have gone against the core audience's interests and that never goes well. All of the verbose defensive options in the game have been trimmed or withered away to the point where it functions more like a 2d fighter. . . And at that I'd much rather Street Fighter. I just wish they play into their recipe for fighting games not their competitors.
