As a pastor of 40 plus years who enjoys going to the original languages and recognizes the nuances of language and communication I find the NET quite enjoyable and insightful. The footnotes help you to understand where and why there are questions about the translations and stimulate you to look at other translations for a clear understanding. If one is more inclined to check words for meanings etc. then the NASB seems more reliable. Bottom line, I find this as readable as the NLT but always stirring one to dig deeper into the HS and the authors intentions.
