Read and enjoyed the book and was excited for the movie. This was a terrible adaptation book to movie. The age of Hayes was incorrect considering the book had him under age (making it even more salacious). She didn't meet him prior to the backstage meet and greet and it was a Vegas concert not one of the largest music festivals. Also the kids were in middle school in the book but highschool in the movie. Sol and Hayes were already together for awhile by the time it was her birthday and his first time coming to the shop. It just seems like they didn't get any of the details correct. These little details might not matter to the movie but it changes the vibe of the book. Had I seen the movie before the book, I might have had a better opinion of it. If you want to use an idea, that's one thing, if you made it on the book, stick to the book
