I'm getting tired of all the dumb comedy in these movies. It was novel back during thor ragnarok but now everyone is doing it and it gets nauseating. The characters are just shallow tropes. I would have thought that with the amount of source material available to them they could have made a more interesting movie but they just took the action adventure script template and went with that. Makes me wonder why I ever go to see these movies.

A show that proves you can't turn a video series into a D&D campaign nor a D&D campaign into a video series. A lot of the campaign is missing or completely replaced to bridge the game into an episodic series. The dialogue is cringey. And not because they captured actual player dialogue from the original campaign but they antics and interaction is surpassed by most B rated anime. But its all hidden behind layers of curse words and the view is distracted by animated nudity because that is what edgy is these days. Everyone wants to be the next game of thrones. In the end it shows a bunch of murder hobos that selectively decide who to kill and save because of players moods that day. Poor village child? You are worth of saving. Drunk in a bar that spilled your beer. That means decapitation. There is no story, the characters are all evil and selfish and no one is redeemable. It ends up being a poor story, or maybe it shows the true nature of our society. As the characters are horrible people so are we.
