Read the Guardian review of this because it is spot on. Martin Freeman is simply incredible in the role as flawed policeman whose declining mental state is palpable. This is Happy Valley level stuff and I urge you to watch a (very) good police officer struggle with balancing doing the right thing (or doing good) whilst on the tightrope of breaking the law himself. It is less about endless violence and more about real people who are struggling in a difficult world. I loved it
