Carol Hollier

I'm on the second episode and I've found myself screaming at the ridiculous female lead. I can't believe how unprofessional and hysterical she is. While her practically all male colleagues, young and old are level headed and insightful, she is a mess. It's not just the female lead. The only other female police officer I've seen so far has been given very few lines. She plays a submissive and obedient member of the support team as far as I can make out. I wondered if it was just me so I checked the reviews and I'm not alone in thinking this series is sexist and poorly scripted. I was drawn to it because of the cast so I'll give it a chance. I will force myself to watch it to the end of I can and if it improves I'll change this review.
